The music is driven by the percussive sound of painting, the act of painting is turned into music, the music visualised. At the conclusion there is a picture: the visualised process of sound and painting. Performed with musician Eugene McCloskey.
The work is an expression of exposure using my original sketchbook pages and transferring them through a photographic technique combined with paint onto canvas. By revealing my diaries in this way I invite the viewer to enter an intimate space - Inside out (and in again)
